The Nintendo Switch 2 launched last year at $449.99 in the US, and from September 1 it's getting $50 more expensive. It will thus be $499.99. The company says it's doing this "in light of changes in market conditions". The Switch 2 is also getting CAD 50 more expensive in Canada and €40 more expensive in Europe. In Japan, the hike will go live much sooner, on May 25. Interestingly, Nintendo is also forecasting a drop in Switch 2 sales over the next year, probably connected with the price hike.
