A fairly reputable leakster has dropped some alleged specs for Google's new "a-series" device, and if true, it might just be the best one to come out in years. There is at least one big surprise in there that we frankly didn't expect – the chipset. When Google dropped the Pixel 10a in March 2026, one of the biggest complaints most prospective buyers had was the chipset. Google decided to stick with last year's Tensor G4 chipset, which is just one of the aspects that made the 10a a bit too similar to the Pixel 9a.
