Samsung SDI will provide the batteries for the Galaxy S8 and a new report suggests they will have larger capacities than the S7 batteries. The Galaxy S8 will have a 3,250mAh battery and the Galaxy S8 Plus a 3,750mAh one according to the report. That's up from S7's 3,000mAh and S7 edge's 3,600mAh battery. Those batteries will have to feed larger screens - 5.8" and 6.2" according to the latest info - though the Snapdragon 835 is reportedly more battery efficient than the 820 chipset it replaces.
