Samsung to start full-fledged sales of Harman products

Samsung has said that it’s going to start full-fledged sales of audio products from Harman International in its home country of South Korea. The company announced in November last year that it was going to acquire Harman for $8 billion. This was Samsung Electronics’ biggest acquisition yet, aimed it giving it a major presence in the connected and automotive technologies market.

Harman has long been working on designing and integrating sophisticated in-car technologies and already has deep relationships with major car manufacturers. It also owns a variety of premium audio brands that are known across the globe for their superior quality and performance. Brands owned by Harman include Lexicon, Revel, Infinity and Mark Levinson. It also licenses Bowers & Wilkins and Bang & Olufsen brands for automotive use.

Samsung has said that it will begin full-fledged sales of audio products from Harman International brands such as Harman Kardon, JBL and AKG. The company is going to sell these products through its shops and will also expand sales to its retail distribution network.

The company also confirmed that warranty services for these products will be provided by Samsung’s repair centers in South Korea. Samsung is also planning to open an exclusive Harman shop in its home country by the end of this year to address customer needs.
