According to the latest Canalys report, the global smartphone market managed a total of 1.35 billion smartphone shipments for 2021 which represents a 7% growth compared to 2020 and is close to the pre-pandemic level of 1.37 billion observed for 2019. The top-five vendor list remained unchanged with Samsung once again leading the way with its 274.5 million shipments and 20% market share.
