The Poco M5 was a 4G-only phone in all of its incarnations, including the M5s. The upcoming Poco M6 will gain support for 5G – this is coming straight from Himanhsu Tandon, the Country Head of Poco and Xiaomi. This won’t be the first 5G phones in the series. In fact, the M5 was something of an exception as both the M3 and M4 series had 5G models in their ranks. There’s no word on what chipset will bring the next-gen connectivity, however.
